Cambodia (កម្ពុជា) , officially the Kingdom of Cambodia, is a fascinating country in Southeast Asia known for its rich history, cultural diversity and breathtaking natural landscapes. Cambodia is located in the center of the Indochinese peninsula and borders Thailand to the west and northwest, Laos to the north, Vietnam to the east and the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest.

Cambodia has a tropical climate with two seasons, the rainy season and the dry season.

Dry season

The dry season lasts from November to April. It is characterized by high temperatures and low humidity. March and April are often the hottest months with temperatures above 40°C. This is also the best time for tourists to travel, as the roads are dry and the sights are easier to reach.

Rainy season

The rainy season in Cambodia usually lasts from May to October. Heavy rainfall can occur from July to September in particular. During the rainy season, the landscape is often lush and green and temperatures can be somewhat cooler.
