Indonesia is a fascinating and diverse country that stretches across a large archipelago of islands in Southeast Asia. Bali – Known as the “Island of the Gods”, Bali is famous for its picturesque rice terraces, impressive temples such as Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, beautiful beaches and a lively art scene. Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, attracts visitors with its art, dance and music.

Lake Toba (Danau Toba) – The world’s largest volcanic lake on the island of Sumatra is a peaceful place to relax and make cultural discoveries, especially in the Batak highlands.
Ubud – The cultural heart of Bali is known for its art, dance and handicrafts. The city is surrounded by rice terraces and has a lively spiritual scene.
Gili Islands – This small group of islands off the coast of Lombok is known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beaches and excellent diving and snorkeling conditions.
Yogyakarta – This city on Java is the cultural and spiritual center of the island and the starting point for visits to Borobudur and Prambanan, another impressive Hindu temple complex.

Travel time

Indonesia has a tropical climate with high temperatures and high humidity of between 70% and 90% all year round. Due to its geographical location on the equator, the country is hot and humid all year round, although there are major regional differences.
